Our Community

At Rafton Family Lawyers we believe in supporting our local community and giving something back to the people of the Hawkesbury.  After all, we live and work in the area and our clients generally do too!

We are committed to providing the best possible legal services, but also to offering residents in this area something more - whether that means helping law students who live around here gain some practical experience, or giving local high school students a place to complete their work experience.

Legal Panels

Our firm is a member of numerous panels that have been specifically set-up to represent adults and children in the community who need support with the provision of legal advice.  These include the National Independent Children’s Lawyer Panel; Care and Protection Panel; Legal Aid Family Law Panel; Domestic Violence Court Assistance Scheme; Solicitors Pro-Bono Scheme; and Volunteer Solicitors Panel (Hawkesbury Legal Centre).

Practical Legal Training

The firm provides placements for law students from the University of Western Sydney.  Our Legal Training program enables the University to place a law student with us for a period of time so that they can gain the necessary practical experience to complete their training. 

Schools Partnership

Rafton Family Lawyers provides an opportunity for students attending local high schools to undertake work experience in the areas of law and office administration.
